Ireland’s most family-friendly festival

Festival of the Fires prides itself on being one of Ireland’s most family-friendly festivals, a fact that was recognized by the Irish Times when they reviewed the event last year.

This year, we are continuing our commitment to making this an event for all the family, and to that end all children under the age of 12 are allowed free admission to the Uisneach event, and to all satellite beacon events nationwide. Children can camp free of charge, and enjoy all the workshops and family play areas that we are laying on for the little ones.

The most important generation is the elder generation, and OAP’s over the age of 65 are also allowed free admission to the Festival of the Fires event on Uisneach and to all our satellite events nationwide. We will need to know numbers in advance, so a simple email to info@festivalofthefires.com telling us if you are coming, and how many of you are coming will suffice.

Parking is free of charge for everyone at the adjacent Lunestown House, and families wishing to bring caravans and camper vans will have their own special area in the main car park. Again, this is free of charge.
