We are a young band made up of 4 members. We play a range of music covering GreenDay, Blink 182, Artic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Weezer to mention a few. We also have a number of our own songs which we are in the process of recording at the moment. I was at the festival this year myself and it was excellent. We would be very interested in playing at the festival next year. Looking forward to hearing from you.

The Rolling Drones evolved in 2010 on a tour in Italy during a Celtic Festival. The lads had already been playing with the idea of fusing bagpipes with more contemporary rock and pop music. Now it has come to a life of its own with the Drones now composing original material to bring this musical extravaganza involving a fusion of all genres of music with bagpipes and other ancient instruments with more modern styles and fitting them together.
The mission – To arouse the Celtic Warrior that is deep down in all peoples and bring it to the fore through the power of music.
All the members have been playing music for well over 15 years and are extremely competent in writing and performing with other pipe bands in the past, including people that have won honours in the world championship in Glascow. Members have toured extensively worldwide including playing at festivals in the USA, France, Italy, Spain and many more Areas of the world.
The bagpipes may be an ancient instrument that stirs the blood but when you put a wall of sound behind it with guitar, bass, drums, electronics and ingenuity it gives it a new edge bringing it in to the modern era.
Now it is the time to put that vast experience and skill to the ultimate test and create a new force on the World music scene.
    THE ROLLING DRONES.
