Workshops, Arts and Crafts on Uisneach

Festival of the Fires welcomes arts and crafts practitioners from all over Ireland to come along and showcase your work at our arts and crafts village, situated beside the ancient palace.

If you have anything creative you’d like to show, small arts and crafts items you’d like to sell, or a trade or skill you’d like to display to an appreciative audience, be sure to drop us a line and we’ll arrange for you to be part of this unique co-operative village.

We also have loads of space for anyone wishing to host Workshops (in any discipline, from music to carpentry) and this, like the arts and crafts space, is free of charge and open to those who get in touch.

Email info@festivalofthefires.com today if you want to get involved.

We already have some amazing workshops lined up with Dermot O’Hara leading a percussion workshop, legendary musician and teacher Noel O’Farrell leading a creative music workshop and the Suba West African Drummers there to take families and friends on a percussive and fire performance journey from the ancient palace to the summit. Don’t forget that the amazing LUXe Arts Group who have devised and developed an incredible parade for you this year will also be hosting workshops all day long at their base in the arts and crafts field.

    Hi,

I am willing to do a series of Ogam talks and workshops-with at least a small fee for the later to deter the dilettantes! : )

I am also willing to do Ogam divinations-though there would need to be a charge for these, around 5Euro-nothing exorbitant.

… and PL:EASE give Spiral Force a slot on the music stage!!! Aidan the fire juggler can vouch for us as solid folk etc.

    Looking forward to the event!

    Cheers

    JP
